Challenge
MyBluePlanet needed an arcade of daily games that make climate literacy a habit — no login friction, instantly shareable — strong enough to anchor municipal rollouts and campaigns like Munich Climate Week (19–25 October 2026).
Approach
Operal built the ClimateActions PWA platform and its arcade on the Innosuisse-funded BlueTok motivation engine. CO₂-Duell is the flagship: a daily “which causes more CO₂?” duel against the ZEO mascot, playable without an account, with streaks, jokers and share-links — 38 sourced comparisons drawn from 359 researched facts. It is joined by Foodwaste-Pass (QR/GPS stamp pass), Klimaparadox (weekly dilemma), Token-Jagd (geocache hunts) and Lights Out (hypercasual highscore). A campaign fork powers Munich Climate Week: a venue stamp pass, location-unlocked duels, daily geo-riddles and team conquest over one shared check-in API with k-anonymity. Operal is credited on climateactions.net with “Product operations · AI-enabled delivery”.
Outcome
The arcade runs live in production — the CO₂-Duell alone served hundreds of daily duels with zero registration friction — inside a platform of 62 Supabase edge functions and a 396-test suite. Munich Climate Week games went live for the 19–25 October window with venue partners across the city.
